Dr. Elizabeth Brown enjoys a diverse musical career as a teacher and collaborative pianist in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. After receiving her doctorate in Collaborative Piano from the University of Maryland, she served on UMD’s faculty as lecturer for several years. Dr. Brown has over 15 years experience teaching piano at every level. She helps children to come to an early love of music and also enjoys working with more advanced students to polish their technique and musicianship. Dr. Brown performs regularly in the D.C. area at recitals, in ensembles, and St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Cheverly, MD. She received her Masters degree from the University of Maryland. She also graduated cum laude from Northwestern University with Bachelors degrees in Piano Performance, and where she was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa honor society.
